New kit

Here is our new kit using the Punchneedle.

A 363   2800yen

Usually we do Punchneedle from the wrong side of a fabric to make a loop, but it is done by an opposite way! A beautiful pattern of double-wedding will catch their eyes.

If you love Punchneedle, it will not get you disappointed:-)

laptop case

I bought a case for carrying my laptop at an electrical appliance store about a year ago.
It was simply white and got easily stained.

So I wrapped it with my panel fabric! Doesn't it look nicer?
I just sewed it with whip stitch.

I attached a little pocket for USB flash drive:-)

2K540

After a lesson at our Kawasaki shop in the morning, we went to an art district called "2K540" which is located under a railroad bridge between Akihabara station and Okachimachi station.

There were over 30 shops selling leather crafts, Japanese traditional crafts and bags.

We found a nice jewelry shop called "a:buchiadot".

They make unique and delicate jewelries which fascinated me so much!
I bought a golden necklace which had seeds of a green pepper.

It was not that big place ( but very comfortable) that we could meet an artist who designed the necklace.

Eco Craft

In Japan, hand knitted basket using recycled pulp tape is quite popular, which we call "Eco Craft".
Is it famous outside of Japan? If you have heard of it or seen it before, please let me know at office@crib.co.jp !

OK, one of CRIB QUILT students is a well known Eco Craft artist.
She gives a workshop in Tokyo this September. I know most of you can not apply for it, but I wanted to share it with you just in case:-)

They will make a basket with Masako's fabric ... look at it!
