Antique Dutch Quilts at EPM

At European Patchwork Meeting, exhibitions don't get together in one place. They use churches, city halls and theaters to exhibit quilts.

We went down to the theater to check this "Dutch quilts from 1700 to 2010".

It was packed with people and difficult to see quilts from crowds, but quilts circa 1700-1800 were beautiful!

This was my favorite.

You might think that the boarder is a whole cloth, but it' not.

Birds and flowers of Chintz fabric were carefully appliqued!
It was just magnificent and breath-taking.
