Paulette, a lady at the B&B is a incredibly nice cook.
In the morning we had this Alsace local homemade cake "Kougelhopf".
According to Paulette, they make this cake with a specific porcelain mold.
The one at the left hand side is taken over through 4 generations! and each mold sorts colors by towns.
What a wonderful tradition!
